Custom Books

Our custom bound books are made with the same high quality standards as our stock books.  With a hard cover and sturdy inside pages, these books are meant to endure as a permanent record.

Custom books are not available for purchase on our website but please call or email us and we can help you with all the details.

We’re often asked…”How do I go about getting a custom log book made?”  We’ve broken it down into a few steps, if you have any questions please feel free to give us a call or email.

If you’re looking to make a new book, start here:

1. Please fill out our quote request form below.  We’ll need to know things like the overall size of the book, number of pages, ink colors, etc.  If you’re not entirely sure on any of these, that’s okay, we can help walk you through it later.

2. Determine what you need printed in the column headings and the approximate spacing between columns and rows.  Please send this to us in writing or upload when you complete the quote request form to ensure accuracy of placement, spelling, etc.  Oftentimes it’s easiest to look at one of our stock books as a reference point, we have downloadable images online that are a good place to start.

3. We’ll make a PDF or paper proof based on what you send that will be formatted to fit the final product.  Please return this proof with corrections or your approval.

4. Only when we receive your written approval, will your book be printed, bound in a hard cover, and shipped in about 3-4 weeks.

If you’ve made a custom book with us in the past and need a new one:

Look towards the top of the page for a small number followed by our name, this is called the key line number and will be the most direct way for us to look up your previous order.  Or check the inside cover of your book for a hand-written number on a label.  That reorder number will help us to find your previous order in our files.  Unfortunately our website does not store these previous orders so your best option is to call/email/fax us with either of these numbers and we’ll get back to you some updated information.
